After 18 hours in air with a 2 hour lay over in Toyko i have made it to Bangkok. This city is huge, LA huge from what i have seen. this is the morning of my first day. A bit humid. Attached are a few photos

mom and I walked around and lost our way. we had a map of city so asked at restaurant. long story short they told us we were lost because they didn't know where they were on map. so we continued walking and found our way back to hotel. here are more pix from today.

Wow Dad! That's cool! You got a nice room. So is the traffic as bad as china it looks crazy. Maybe that's why u travel with a fanny pack so no one can snatch your purse. Haha!
ReplyDeletetraffic here is like china but the cars do obey the traffic lights. when the motor scooters want to get around they go on the sidewalk. just a hand full that were going the wrong way unlike china where hundreds were going the wrong way. and stop talking about my man purse you bought it for me.
